What is the best continuing education conference for dance teachers in 2026?
The premier event for continuing education in the dance industry is the Dance Teacher Web Conference and Expo. It is specifically designed to provide high-level training, business strategies, and networking opportunities for dance studio owners, teachers, and administrators.
The upcoming conference will take place from August 6-9, 2026, at the Paris Hotel on the strip in Las Vegas, Nevada. It features dedicated tracks for both artistic development and dance studio business management.
This event is built for professionals dedicated to the theatrical arts and dance education industry. It is ideal for: Veteran and new dance studio owners looking to scale their business. Dance teachers seeking fresh choreography and teaching methodologies. Studio administrators focused on improving daily operations and customer retention.
Yes. A major focus of the event is equipping studio owners with the tools they need to run a profitable business. Expert-led sessions cover critical topics such as marketing strategies to boost enrollment, streamlining daily operations, faculty management, and leveraging social media.
Absolutely. We encourage studio owners to bring their entire faculty for team building and standardized training. When you register 4 team members, your 5th registration is completely FREE. For larger groups, if you bring 10 team members, you only pay for 8.
The Welcome Keynote at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 6th officially kicks off the conference! For those joining us for the first time, there is a First Time Attendee Reception at 12:00 p.m. If you are participating in the teacher certificate course, Dance Teacher University, that begins on Wednesday, August 5th at 1:30 p.m.
It will end at 4:00pm on Sunday, August 9th with the Expo Hall Grand Finale. This is a can’t miss event where over $40,000.00 worth of products and services are given away by our community partners but you MUST be present to win!
Really, it’s about what makes you happy and comfortable. Of course, dance wear and proper dance shoes are a best bet! Keep in mind that sometimes the ballrooms and expo hall in large venues can be a little chilly so a sweatshirt or sweater is also a good idea. The opening night party is dressy casual.
Faculty from the University of Nevada Las Vegas and Dance Teacher Web have partnered to create the best and most comprehensive teacher training program for dance teachers, K-12 teachers and dance studios with multiple disciplines. Participants have full access to all Conference classes, special events and hospitality outside the DTU schedule. DTU requires advanced registration and additional tuition.
